Using paracord
WHAT IS PARACORD
Guardian paracord
Initially, paracord was used in parachute straps during World War II, and then it was reused by downed pilots as a convenient emergency cord. The result was the establishment of paracord as one of the items of first necessity for the military in everything, starting from its use as a fastening part during repair work, and ending with the necessity of having paracord for the survival of a soldier.
Paracord (English parachute cord, for type 3 - 550 cord) is practically the same rope known as "Kernmantle", with a supporting core of bundles of continuous nylon fibers surrounded by a braided protective layer, but also with inner strands for strength and outer braid for wear resistance. The name "Kernmantle" comes from the German language, meaning "protected core".
WHY PARACORD IS SO CONVENIENT
What makes paracord so durable also makes it so easy to use. Thanks to the outer braid and inner strands, paracord is very elastic. Unlike many other ropes, the outer shell of the strand is smooth and silky, which makes paracord comfortable to use, without tearing the skin on the hands. Semi-elastic nylon and 30% stretch make paracord a good night for tarpaulins and other protective devices, as stretch extends the life of tarpaulins and protective covers. In extreme cases, paracord can be used as a protective device.
Having separated the seven inner fibers, each one will have a load of 35 pounds, and if you untwist these seven double strands again, then each of the fourteen strands can withstand a load of 17.5 pounds. One of the fourteen inner strands can serve as an excellent fishing line or rope for fastening. The outer braid is quite useful in terms of weight load, and can be used to perform such unusual tasks as, for example, the repair of the Hubble telescope, as happened during the second program of NASA "Space Shuttle".
USE OF PARACORD

Paracord can be used to solve many problems that are limited only by your imagination and ability to tie knots. In addition to the fastening function and the use of paracord as a rope, for many years new ways of its application have been discovered, with the aim of providing useful and decorative ways to end the aimless storage of such a convenient rope. Where paracord gets a truly creative application is when creating something new and beautiful. Googled the request "how to make paracord", you will be shocked at how many options the sentence will end up with.

WORKING WITH PARACORD
Paracord is very easy to work with, its internal nylon fibers can be cut, and it even melts without the slightest damage, as it is made of high-strength, stable and heat-resistant polyamide with a melting point of 244°C. Internal nylon fibers lose no more than 15% of their strength as a result of light and heat exposure. Basically, most people want to set the ends of the rope on fire a little, otherwise it will tangle too quickly and sloppily. If you are going to use a paracord and want to extend the period of its use, refrain from cutting the rope into parts at every problem that arises. Without using paracord as a permanent construction material, anything you can do with a single piece of paracord can also be done with a whole rope without having to cut it into pieces each time.
FINAL THOUGHTS
Paracord is without a doubt one of the most useful cords on the planet, it has repeatedly and successfully served as rescue equipment. Also, this is one of the most convenient things that you can have at home, in a box, or in the trunk of a car. Sometimes it is even more useful than adhesive tape.
